Staff busy serving Coffee #E3Expo16
I attended the E3 Business Expo and had a great experience. From the slick and efficient checking-in and personal welcome from Mubarak Chati through to the end of day fair well.
E3 Business Expo was developed to encourage B2B collaboration, to introduce firms to new potential partners and stakeholders, and to help make the North West a better place to do business.
I personally felt all those objectives were met on Thursday.
My visit started with a chat and the introduction of Kate Vincent (Marmalade toast) to Diarmuid Beary (Display wizard). Kate had recently shot a promo video about a vinyl product that Display Wizard where interested in.
I chatted with was Lily Myers of Brand Spankings Promotions. Lily has an interesting Philosophy where the promotional business is concerned. Lily strives to develop her promotional merchandise company into one that encompasses the principals of a pleasurable purchasing experience with added value and, most importantly, a stylish and functional end product.
When you look closely at Lily’s stand you notice that all the items are custom made or designed for each client.
I attended a networking session hosted by Phil Parramores. There I met Deepak Jhanj (Signature Tax) who passed me an introduction to two businesses in Darwen. Thank you my friend.
I was invited to try a massage. Claire Thompson delivered an excellent shoulders, neck and head massage. When Claire learnt what my business was she told me she wished to take payments from clients in their homes. Claire and I are meeting next week to review a Merchant account proposal.
Cheryl Green of Silverback introduced herself and her company over a glass of bubbly. She explained that her company works with organisations committed to achieving agility and growth. ‘We are the answer to real business training and development questions. We listen, review, recommend and deliver unique business performance improvements through leadership training and strategic change. Silverback facilitate change by aligning business performance strategy with individualised training’ said Cheryl.
Silverbacks USP is that they aim to become part of your team and deliver results which better your business, not just make recommendations as management training consultants.
Cheryl then told me that she is looking for a Merchant account for her business – Another appointment made.
Hi to these other businesses that I met @SamPratt_ @moosesocial @4nhq @HDSolicitors @lucrativemktg @E3BusinessExpo
The E3 expo was well organised and had a very relaxed but professional feel about. There was an excellent mix of businesses and attendees alike. And the facilities were superb. If you would like to learn more about the organisers and their events contact them at
