Over a coffee and homemade Ginger cake Lillie and I chatted, sharing anecdotal stories of our links with others present in the network meeting. This was more than enough to prompt a 1:2:1 meeting with each other.
Lillie is Business Development Manager at MrFinch.
When I asked who or what is Mr Finch she replied – ‘We are market disruptors’.
MR FINCH are HR & EMPLOYMENT LAW SPECIALISTS, who clients not only include local and provincial clients, but nationally renowned employers too!
I was called disruptive at school, but that term is so damn sexy right now – *in a business context!
Lillie explained ‘Unlike most law firms, we offer a pioneering service to business owners when dealing with legal matters. The legal sector is heavily dominated with an “old school” approach to providing legal advice, enforcing hourly rate billing and 9-5pm working hours’.
‘We don’t do that. We don’t charge hourly rates. We don’t work 9-5pm’.
‘Whatever our clients need, we deliver and it all starts with a FREE CONSULTATION’.
Lillie is clearly enthusiastic and passionate about her role within the organisation as well as being a true aficionado of Networking.
She asked me about my business and who my ideal client/introduction would be, then she made a list of potential introductions – promising me that more would come to mind.
I would encourage any networker to take the opportunity to meet with her, plus she makes nice coffee!
Thank you Lillie.
