Today I the pleasure of meeting with Suzanne Edmonds for a long overdue catch-up.
We met at Great Harwood Window Company in Blackburn, one of Suzannes clients. Their conservatory served as a great meeting room in the sunshine as we sipped nothing stronger than chilled aqua!
Suzanne operates a Recruitment business specialising in sourcing office based Executives and Finance staffing up to Senior Management level.
In the time that I have known Suzanne she has grown her business team from two to five employees. She is now planning the next stage of her strategic growth with the help of a few key people including Paul Aisthorpe.
Suzanne and I discussed networking and social media, which I believe are both intricately linked. Both disciplines aide people in connecting, building and maintaining strong relationships.
Suzanne and I both believe that strong relationships are a key factor in business success. Suzanne shared with me the fact that one of the businesses I introduced her to three years ago have used her services repeatedly as they have grown and expanded. Suzanne realises the true value that companies place on her skills and endeavours to give each client the professional and personal attention they deserve in order to ensure every ones success.
In true networking fashion, I introduced Suzanne to Bill Doves Oldham Networking Event and she introduced me to Great Harwood Window Company which means that a new relationships have been founded – now we have to work on them!
