Raja Pitalia and Pall Mall Medical hosting the inaugural 1st Friday Business Lunch with the main aim of making PIs. and supporting members in their business. One dozen like-minded individuals attended the inaugural event.
There was a strong sense of everyone connecting (not pitching). The tone of the event was set by a short introductory address from Stephen Iacovou (Cottons Financial Planning) with good humoured banter from the sides.
While we were all able to connect and introduce ourselves to each one over the course of the afternoon, I personally felt a strong synergy with three attendees, namely Bernard McCabe (Dreamscape), Deepak Jhanji (Signature Tax) and Stephen, each of whom have agreed a 1:2:1 with me.
I can’t help thinking about how (coincidently) I connected with three people at the gathering and in my networking plan one of my objectives is to make three meaningful connections at each event I attend, leading to a 1:2:1 – How Bizar!
The First Friday Business Lunch felt very unique to any other ‘networking’ event that I have attended in the UK. Thank you Raja for inviting and personally introducing me to what I am sure will be a very popular and successful group.
