Terry shared some of his great sales experiences with the group. Many cited examples came from his ‘mentors’. It was from a time when a ‘hand shake’ was binding.
Terry learnt and lived by the guiding principles of honesty, trust and persistence which saw him rise to the position of Managing Director of Litho Supplies PLC.
The network event was a great opportunity to consolidate and start new relationships. 4N member and networker Sam Pratt, who I have met previously, gave me a referral ☺to an event management company. There may be an opportunity to introduce my iPad based EPOS with the pre-order and pre-pay (POPP) feature. Great for situations where customers are time challenged to pick up food and beverages.
In spite of the temporary power failure and thus no fresh coffee, the meeting ran very smoothly. Everyone was able to have three 1:2:1 meetings of about ten minutes each – a great way to learn more about people and their business and ways in which you may be able to help each other.
