Alice presenting on Ecuador
Another great fund raising event by Shelagh Brownlaw in aid of Alice’s expedition to Ecuador.
The venue was the Thwaits Empire Theatre, Blackburn.
Sam Keenan (Social Sam) gave a very good insight into Google+ and why you, as a business, should be on it.
Alice, diagnosed Aspergers, gave us an update of her progress to date as well as her itinerary for the trip. I have listened to Alice on three occasions and each time I am moved a little more than the last. Every credit girl. The expedition is organised by Camp International.
Entertainment was supplied by the real life events of Corrine Potter, retired Bailiff. We were treated to 25 minutes of ‘Days in the life of a Bailiff’. Her days generally consisted of pitting her wits against those that can pay but won’t pay – Brilliant.
Musical entertainment was delivered by Chris Stern and his acoustic guitar. Chris is planning a charity evening at the Blackburn Rugby football Club in aid of Alice’s cause. Details to follow.
