How to WIN at Networking
You need three things:
#First – A clear and deep understanding of who you want to help and what ‘Pain In The Neck’ problem they want you to solve (even if they don’t know it yet).
#Second – A trusting relationship built over time…a relationship that flows from and is reinforced by regular, consistent communication. Following the initial personal contact, I use Phone, email, LinkedIn, Twitter and Blog articles.
#Third – An offer they can’t refuse…not hyped…but perfectly matched to them. The hacks and charlatans rely on hype and pressure…the true servant networkers focus on creating a perfect match.
